Cassandra Morales-De Silvestore

Cassandra began her scientific career at the University of California at Davis, where she received her Bachelor's degree in Genetics. There she developed her interest in research, with the hope to study the role of epigenetics in cancer metastasis.

Now in the Zeller lab, Cassandra is currently elucidating the gene regulatory network governing the specification of the larval peripheral nervous system in Ciona intestinalis.
